Significance of the New Testament

The New Testament holds great significance for all Christians.  This new set of books marked a radical change, as God himself set foot on Earth to painfully sacrifice himself to his own creation (man).    God had a choice structure a religion in whatever manner of his choosing.  His choice of empathy for mankind and a willingness to undergo one of the most horrific deaths imaginable, illustrates his never-ending love for us.  The New Testament symbolizes a break in past traditions from the Old Testament.  The Jews were no longer God's chosen people.  Blood sacrifices were no longer required.  A religion of love and understanding evolved extend eternal salvation not only to Jews, but to any person who would ask forgiveness of their sins, and believe in and revere in the name of Jesus.  It's a powerful message and a wonderful gift to have bestowed upon us all.  The New Testament is a wonderful and exciting set of books to read.  Allow us to share it with you at this website.  Feel free to visit our video media area to watch streaming videos pertaining to subjects on the New Testament.
