The New Testament
The New Testament recounts an exciting and
dangerous time in Christian history. The ways of old (Judaism and the Old
Testament) were forever changed when Jesus Christ set foot upon this Earth and
gave his life for all of mankind. The New Testament details this event in
its first four books, Matthew Mark, Luke, and John. From Jesus's birth,
into his early teenage years when he amazed the temple elders, through his three
year ministry, his crucifixion, and concluding with his amazing resurrection,
these 4 individual accounts of the life of Christ open up the New Testament in a
way befitting of the greatest story ever told. The ultimate sacrifice and
the greatest gift ever given to mankind is a hard act to follow, but through the
inspiration of the Trinity (The Father, the Son, and the Holy spirit) followers of Jesus
rise to the task of completing the masterpiece that is the New Testament.
